Restrictions and Other Conditions

Network Environment

Use the Epson Connect services under the following conditions. For detailed information on your network environment, contact your network administrator. For more information about services from other companies, contact the company in question.
Epson Connect connects the printer or the scanner to an IPv4 network. You cannot use the services on a network that is for IPv6 only.
Only one proxy server connection is supported.
Because Epson Connect uses XMPP communication protocol, you need to open port 5222.

Other Conditions

When printing is paused or restarted due to running out of consumables

When printing is paused due to running out of consumables such as paper or ink, follow the steps in the user's guide to load new paper or replace the ink cartridges. Printing resumes from the next page that stopped.
Note:
When printing is paused due to a paper jam, the pages before and after the point the job was paused may be printed in duplicate.
When the printer is turned off during a print job, printing resumes from the first page in the file when the printer is turned back on.
This includes cases where the power is accidentally turned off when loading paper or replacing ink cartridges.
When printing is paused due to a network disconnection, printing resumes from the first page in the file when the printer is turned back on or when the printer receives a new print job.
