Print Log

The Email Print - Print Log screen allows you to check the status of print jobs on the printer and cancel printing.
Note:
Up to 200 print jobs can be displayed.
Click the Refresh button to update the screen. If you keep this screen open, update the screen before performing any operations.
Click Print Log from the printer menu on the left of the screen.
You can check the following items on the Print Log.
Date Received: Displays the date and time of received emails. The date is displayed according to the time zone selected when the printer was registered.
Sender: Displays the sender’s email address.
Subject: Displays the subject of the email.
Status: Displays the status of the print job.
The following table provides detailed explanations of the status.

Print job received.
Pending
Printer is standing by to print the next job.
Printing
Now printing.
Printed
Printing complete.
An asterisk (*) is added when an error occurs during printing indicating that a file has been automatically reprinted.
Printed (Some file(s) could not be printed)
Printing complete, but some files could not be printed.
Cancelled
Printing cancelled from the printer’s control panel.
Printing Stopped (Out of paper)
Printing stopped because the printer is out of paper or a paper jam has occurred. Printing restarts when the printer is ready.
Printing Stopped (Out of ink)
Printing stopped because the printer is out of ink. Printing restarts when the printer is ready.
Printing Stopped (Paper jam)
Printing stopped because a paper jam occurred. Printing restarts when the printer is ready.
Error (Sender not on Approved Senders List)
The email address is not on the printers Approved Senders List. The printer cannot print until the email has been registered to the Approved Senders List.
Error (Attachment(s) are larger than 20MB)
Cannot print because the attachment(s) are over 20 MB.
Error (Exceeded the maximum number of attachments (10))
Cannot print because the email has more than 10 attachments.
Error (No printable data was sent)
No printable content found in the email body or any attachment(s).
Error (Print)
Error occurred in the body of the email or in the attachment(s).
Print request has expired. (72 hour max)
The print job was deleted because the maximum storage time of 72 hours was exceeded.
Printing Stopped (other)
Cannot print. Printing will resume once the error has been cleared.
Note:
Print jobs are stored for 72 hours after the email is received. After that, the jobs are deleted.
If the number of pending print jobs exceeds 100, any emails after that are not received and are not displayed in the Print Log of Email Print.

Cancelling Print Jobs

You can cancel printing after sending a print job by using the printer’s control panel or the Print Log of Email Print on the User Page.

Cancelling from the printer

To cancel printing during printing, press the stop/cancel button on the printer’s control panel.
Note:
The stop/cancel button name and location varies depending on the printer. For more details on the printer’s control panel, see your printer’s documentation.

Cancelling from the Email Print Log

You can cancel pending print jobs from the User Page.
Search for the print job you want to cancel in the Print Log.
Click Cancel from the Status column.
