Print Log

The Remote Print - Print Log screen allows you to check the status of print jobs on the printer and cancel printing.
Note:
Up to 200 print jobs can be displayed.
Click the Refresh button to update the screen. If you keep this screen open, update the screen before performing any operations.
Click Print Log under Remote Print from the printer menu on the left of the screen.
You can check the following items on the Print Log.
Date Received: Displays the date and time of received print requests. The date is displayed according to the time zone selected when the printer was registered.
Service: Displays the service name to which the print job was sent.
File Name: Displays the file name for the print job.
Number of Files: Displays the number of files sent. If image files have been sent, multiple files may be included in one print job.
Status: Displays the status of the print job.

Received
Print job received.
Pending
Printer is standing by to print the next job.
Printing
Now printing.
Printed
Printing complete.
An asterisk (*) is added when an error occurs during printing indicating that a file has been automatically reprinted.
Printed (Some file(s) could not be printed)
Printing complete, but some files could not be printed.
Cancelled
Printing cancelled.
Printing Stopped (Out of paper)
Printing stopped because the printer is out of paper. Printing restarts when the printer is ready.
Printing Stopped (Out of ink)
Printing stopped because the printer is out of ink. Printing restarts when the printer is ready.
Printing Stopped (Paper jam)
Printing stopped because a paper jam occurred. Printing restarts when the printer is ready.
Error (Print)
Error occurred in the body of the email or in the attachment(s).
Print request has expired. (72 hour max)
The print job was deleted because the maximum storage time of 72 hours was exceeded.
Error (Attachment(s) exceed the maximum file size (100MB/TOTAL 10MB/File))
Cannot print because the total size of the attachment data is over 100 MB, or one of the attachments is over 10 MB.
Printing Stopped (other)
Cannot print. Printing will resume once the error has been cleared.
Note:
Print jobs are stored for 72 hours after the email is received. After that, the jobs are deleted.
If the number of pending print jobs exceeds 100, any print requests after that are not received and are not displayed in the Print Log of Remote Print.

Cancelling Print Jobs

You can cancel printing after sending a print job by using the printer’s control panel or the Print Log of Remote Print on the User Page.

Cancelling from the printer

To cancel printing during printing, press the stop/cancel button on the printer’s control panel.

The stop/cancel button name and location varies depending on the printer. For more details on the printer’s control panel, see your printer’s documentation.

Cancelling from the Remote Print Log

You can cancel pending print jobs from the User Page.
Search for the print job you want to cancel in the Print Log.
Click Cancel from the Status column.
